Francesca Schiavone

Francesca Schiavone (born in Milan on June 23, 1980) is an Italian tennis coach and former tennis player.
She won the Fed Cup with the Italian team in 2006, 2009 and 2010. At the Olympics she reached the quarterfinals in 2004.
In 2010 she won Roland Garros and reached the final the following year.
In her career she won a total of 8 WTA tournaments in singles and 7 in doubles and ranked no. 4 in the world in January 2011.
She played and won the longest match in the history of women’s tennis, with 4 hours and 44 minutes.
She has been coach of Carolina Wozniacki and Petra Martic.
