Giovanni Allevi, internationally renowned composer and pianist, is responsible for a deep renewal of Art Music, bringing back the art of composition to the new generations’ attention.
He is graduated in Piano and Composition and has a bachelor degree in Philosophy, with a thesis entitled “The void in Contemporary Physics”.
He worked at the most important concert halls in the world, from Carnegie Hall in New York to Teatro alla Scala in Milan, to the Auditorium of Forbidden City in Bejing.
Knight of the Italian Republic for cultural and artistic merits, Stella d’Oro of Valor Mozartiano, Falcone and Borsellino Award, and Save the Children Ambassador, at the front line of defending the rights of children.
Recently he has been author and host of an innovative and award-winning docuseries on Rai Play: “Allevi in the jungle”.
