The INTRECCINCANTIERE contest awards a prize to the best creations made with the braided materials produced by the company in one of the following sectors: leather goods, lifestyle, footwear and apparel.
The very large range of articles produced by Manifattura di Domodossola in different colours and materials is an important opportunity for young designers who are ready to measure themselves against the challenge of using braided materials for their creations.
Every year the items created by young designers from all over the world are evaluated by a jury of fashion and design experts.
The contest is an opportunity for the world of fashion and the industry to meet: Athison opens its doors to the young designers and makes all its collections available for them. The most deserving designers are rewarded by the company with a monetary compensation and with the possibility to do an internship in the company.
Fresh and innovative ideas flow from this synergy each year, and some of them are selected to be used for Athison’s future collections.
